Where I Started

Concepts

The drawings explore space, memories, recollection, nature, and movement through simple physical materials.

Material Approach

Pencil, charcoal, and ink were used to study texture, rhythm, contrast, and atmosphere without adding unnecessary explanation around each piece.

What I Did

Drawing Studies

Created a series of hand drawings focused on spatial feeling, remembered scenes, natural forms, and traces of motion.
Used different drawing materials to shift between soft gradients, dense shadows, fine lines, and expressive marks.

Visual Direction

Kept the project quiet and direct so the drawings can carry the emotional and material qualities themselves.
